Rebecca Horn is a retired public school employee with 27 years of service in Montgomery and Elmore County Schools. Her teaching career includes 23 years inside the elementary classroom teaching grades first through sixth. Her last four years were spent as an Instructional Coach at Redland Elementary. Rebecca is now serving as Assessment and Graduate Programs Director at Faulkner University. She received a B.S. from Faulkner University, M.Ed. from Auburn University Montgomery, and an Ed.S. from Auburn University. Working and serving in Christian education is a tremendous blessing to her.

Dr. Leslie Cowell’s teaching career began at Destin Elementary School in Destin, Florida, where she taught fourth grade. She and her family moved to Prattville in 2006, where she taught fourth and fifth grades at Prattville Christian Academy and then moved to the position of elementary principal and academic director. Cowell began teaching at Faulkner in 2011. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University, a Master’s degree in Reading Education from the University of West Florida and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Elementary Education from Auburn University. Cowell teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in the College of Education.
